girls are the best! - Manhattan Beach Family Session - {Bay Area Family Photographer}

I love this family and their girls!! I have been photographing them since Mari was just a little babe and now a new addition has arrived - meet Jenna Corrine! A bundle of smiles and happiness, she is such a little love. I always love shooting in their very adorable Manhattan Beach home with all its pretty natural light. Thank you for having me capture your growing family and thank you for the advice on ours to come! Just as I was leaving their Daddy said to me, the best advice we got going into parenthood was...(insert my dreaded face as I was sure he would tell me "you'll never sleep again" "enjoy vacation while you can" " you have no idea what is coming your way") he simply said "it's great! And just remember they are joining your life, not vice versa." I loved it - best advice I've gotten so far. So I will put this on a shelf of its own and remember it often as we go through parenthood.

Welcome Parker - 6 days new - {San Francisco Newborn Photographer}

Oh this sweet little girl I could not wait to meet!! She arrived to a few very special friends at the beginning on May and she could not be more adorable with her tinyness and inquisitiveness. So inquisitive she didn't want to sleep for more then a few minutes for her shoot, as I swiftly snapped and snapped as quick as I could before she awoke! I love capturing newborns for so many reasons but mainly because they are all so different, sometimes you forget that they are tiny humans with an agenda of their own, and just like the quote on her nursery wall "If I came with instructions what fun would that be!" So very very true! I'll have to remember this mantra when our own daughter is upon us - very very soon. Welcome to the world Parker girl, you are in good hands with your wonderful parents and I can't wait to watch you grow!
