I love when my brides come back to me as Mommies, its so exciting to see their family grow and to see the new look of excitement in their faces. And not only did I get to see this sweet bride and her groom again but I got to see her whole family again at the same spot they got married about three years prior. It was like seeing old friends you haven't seen in awhile. So excited for you both as you embark on this new journey together with your adorable littl' man. I hope I get to see a lot more of him on your trips out to the wine country, and next time bring more Nashville heat with you!

pause on a lazy.sunday

Its 2013...amazing. how. time. goes.... looking back on what 2012 brought, what 2013 has in store and everything that got me to this point ..well its just awesome.  so super duper happy in my life and in my business it is nice to sometimes just sit down and reflect, but honestly sometimes I forget. getting so caught up in just going going going that I forget to pause and just be grateful.  so grateful to be where I am now. so lucky to get to do what I love and meet such wonderful people and families along the way. thank you to all the families that have let me in to your lives and trusted me with you memories. thank you for picking me. looking on to 2013 with just two intentions....1. be more artful in my work (this goes back to what i was saying, just take some time to pause and really think) don't be so eager to move to the next shot, be mindful and pause and see more beauty. and 2. take more personal photos. (then maybe frankie won't look at me so strange when i pull out the camera - see bottom pic.)
