I totally fell in love with a garter I came across on Pinterest and I only wished I had found them for my own wedding in October, but...next best thing is to give it to your cousin for her wedding! Loren, the designer and uber creative creator, makes all of her garters by hand and with love. Another thing I love about Mamie+James is their cute saying on all of their labels: "Accessories that are meant to be laughed in, danced in, and loved in. For the girl who wishes to embark on her own series of adventures." Here were a few quick pics I took of the garters I gave my cousin - I gave Loren a small description of my cousin and she came up with the perfect design for her! What a fun session with Val and Alex last week in Napa. It was nice to have a change of scenery from San Francisco and go into wine country - especially when everything was blooming! Hello Mustard fields and Cherry Blossoms - oh la la!! And Val was so cute in her orange dress all ready for Spring in sunny California - isn't she the cutest (they are both from Washington DC and having a their wedding in Napa since this is where Alex proposed!) We started in a mustard field and then made our way to the Culinary Institute that overlooked their wedding venue (Charles Krug.) I'm excited to shoot at Krug again where my photos are still on their website from their first ever wedding! Thanks Val and Alex and I can't wait for your big day this Spring!
