So fun capturing these girls again! I have had the pleasure of photographing them for the past year and we have had quite a few sessions together since Mom and Dad like to give this as their presents to each other – such a great idea! I love watching them grow and seeing how they change in just a few months! We started out with toys and singing and ended with a bit of a show – twin C had had enough of her clothes! So cute! Angie and Flavio have just moved here from the East Coast and are planning their big day with all their friends and family from out of town in Tiburon. We had a great engagement session starting at their house in Russian Hill and ending in the Presidio in one of my favorite bridge spots (aka where my hubby and I took our engagement photos!) They are adorable together and I’m pretty sure every time I told them to look at each other this sweet little giggle came out of both of them. Thanks for the fun session and can’t wait anxiously awaiting September for you!

Fun day on Treasure Island shooting Tyler Brown (sponsored Kiteboarder) for Parolee Threads (a new bay area based repurposed jacket company.) These jackets are going to be awesome! Can’t wait to get one for my hubby. If you know any men out there that might like one of these contact them to pick one out. They are hand-stitching them and will be in stores soon, all jackets will be one of a kind, pretty cool as well. Enjoy!

Andree and Barrett met in 2005 at Standford while they were in school (although Barrett is still there getting I’m pretty sure the highest degree they give out in something hard to pronounce – thats my take on it at least.) I had the pleasure of living with Andree about 5 years ago, so I was so excited when she called me to tell me the news of their engagement and that they needed a photographer to document all their cuteness (as you can tell by the photos these two have a ridiculous amount of fun together!) We had a great time going around Stanford’s campus – I never knew how pretty it was! Thanks for the smiling afternoon guys and I CANNOT wait to photograph your big day in July!

The next part of this blog I want to talk about Sara, my lovely and wonderful stylist, has been cutting and coloring my hair for the past 5 years (I’m pretty sure my math is about correct) and she always does a super duper job!! She did my hair on my wedding and I couldn’t have been happier, but sorry bride to be’s she doesn’t usually do wedding hair but she will do your hair for a night out on the town or something else special if you go and see her at Patrick Evan Salon. And I have to say that she is just so darn good because of a). her natural talents and patience and b). because Patrick Evan does all these fun workshops for their stylists to keep them at the top of their game. I had the pleasure of photographing a Kevin Murphy workshop they did last week. All Kevin Murphy products are made from renewable and sustainable resources and all hair products are sulphate and paraben free!! Good news!
